Tragic accident with a great ending!
A 7 year old girl fell and broker her front tooth in half.
Her mother was able to find the fracture and I was able to bond it back in place.
Protocol:
See if the fracture is salvageable. Hopefully in one piece.
Treat the fracture and tooth. Air abrasion and protect prime and bond. I do not cure the bond. Just lightly thin.
Add GC flowable to fracture piece. Confirm seat and light activate.
Final polish.
Explain how the tooth will rehydrate in 24 hours.
Monitor the pulp with X-rays every 6 months.
Nothing like recreating nature with nature.
